COPYRIGHT

Joanna Gibbs, owner of Floss Gibbs Design Services, owns the copyright of all content, materials, logos and design elements, unless otherwise stated. These elements may not be copied, reproduced, rewritten, published or altered in any way without written permission from Joanna Gibbs.

 

On completion of any commissioned design work, full copyright is passed to the client once payment has been received in full. However, Floss Gibbs Design Services retains the right to use the final artwork in any portfolios or for marketing/advertising of our services, both on and offline.

 

The copyright of any earlier concepts that may have been supplied to you to preview remains with Floss Gibbs Design Services. We retain the right to use such initial concepts in future projects.

 

PROJECT ACCEPTANCE

At the time of proposal, Floss Gibbs Design Services will provide the client with a written estimate or quotation. The full terms and conditions can be read on the Floss Gibbs Design Services website. The client can send an email acknowledging acceptance of the estimate, which binds the client to accept Floss Gibbs Design Services terms and conditions. No work on a project will commence until acceptance of the estimate has been received by Floss Gibbs Design Services.

 

PRICE CHANGES

Floss Gibbs Design Services reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice. However, if a client has already commissioned any services from Floss Gibbs Design Services to any change in prices, that commission will not be subject to any increase, but any subsequent commission may be subject to an increase.

 

CANCELLATION RIGHTS

You have a right to cancel your order at any time. In the event of cancellation you will be invoiced for the cost of the work carried out so far based on my current hourly rate. If no work has been completed, you will incur any charges.

 

PAYMENT

Floss Gibbs Design Services accepts payment by cheque, bank transfer or cash, within 28 days of the date on the invoice. We reserve the right to withhold final design files or withdraw all web pages until full payment has been received for a project. Any payment returned by our bank will incur an administration charge of £100 This will be invoiced and added to the outstanding debt owed by the customer.

 

PAYMENT/ESTIMATES

New accounts/clients will be required to pay 50% of the project cost before work can begin. Unless otherwise specified, all subsequent balances due are payable upon art approval.

 

REVISIONS AND ALTERATIONS

Estimates are compiled based on the briefing supplied. The estimate is subject to change on receipt of supplied information or content.

 

If for any reason the design brief changes to an extent that substantially alters the specifications described in the original estimate and/or if there are additional amends, then Floss Gibbs Design Services will submit a revised estimate for these new requirements which will require approval before further work proceeds.

RECOMMENDED SUPPLIERS

Floss Gibbs Design Services may recommend third party suppliers to work along side us on your design project. These may include printing firms, copywriters and web developers. Floss Gibbs Design Services will not be held responsible for any problems or delays that may occur from using suppliers recommended by us. Floss Gibbs Design will bear no responsibility for any amendments made by any third party, before or after a design is published.

 

DESIGN SERVICES TERMS

The acceptance of a project shall be deemed as a contractual agreement between the client and Floss Gibbs Design Services. We cannot always guarantee to start work immediately on a project but will inform the client of estimated timescales upon acceptance of the project.

 

Photographs, images and text supplied by the client must be the clients own or licensed for use by the client. Floss Gibbs Design Services cannot be held responsible for any breach of copyright or any other right caused by reproduction of materials supplied by the client.

 

Floss Gibbs Design Services will not include in its designs, any text, images or other data which it deems to be immoral, offensive, obscene or illegal.

 

The copyright for all material provided by Floss Gibbs Design Services, such as graphics, photographs and text, will remain the property of Floss Gibbs Design Services until full payment has been made.

 

All design work will be proofed carefully by the client for accuracy, ranging from spelling to technical illustrations, and written approval given before Floss Gibbs Design Services will release it for publication or print. Whilst all efforts will be made by Floss Gibbs Design Services to ensure the accuracy of work, no liability can be accepted by Floss Gibbs Design Services for errors not highlighted by the client prior to written approval for publication or print.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

Floss Gibbs Design Services are committed to protecting your privacy. Any information we collect from you is used only to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service.

 

Confidentiality: The client shall inform the designer in writing before the project commences if any portion of any material or information provided by the client or if any portion of the project is confidential.
